Inova Loudoun Hospital's commitment to stroke patients is nationally recognized. In March 2009, Inova Loudoun Hospital was designed a Primary Stroke Center, a certification awarded to only a small percentage of hospitals nationwide.
The designation recognizes Inova Loudoun's safe, high-quality care, treatment and services for stroke patients.
The certification also applies to the Emergency Department at Inova Loudoun Medical Campus – Leesburg, the first free-standing emergency department in the state to be designated a Primary Stroke Center.
In Virginia, only 11 hospitals are designated Primary Stroke Centers, and three are Inova hospitals. Inova Loudoun Hospital is proud to join Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital as one of this select group.

Inova Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Inova Loudoun Hospital's private 100-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility offers intermediate and long-term nursing care, as well as rehabilitation services for those recovering from strokes or other neurological impairment.
