An outgrowth of Inova Institute for Nursing Excellence, the Edelman Center was established in 2005 through a major charitable donation from Jean and Ric Edelman to attract and retain talented people in the nursing profession. Thanks to so many of our generous nursing donors, the Edelman Center is able to distribute nursing scholarships and financial awards to qualified Inova employees who are seeking nursing degrees, students enrolled in nursing programs who agree to work at Inova after they graduate, and Inova nurses working on advanced degrees. In the past year, approximately 2,000 nurses accessed the services of the Edelman Nursing Career Development Center.
The Edelman Center's online services are available to Inova employees 24 hours a day, accessible through InovaNet, the internal intranet.
The Edelman Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, located in Suite 200 West at 8110 Gatehouse Road, Falls Church, VA 22042.
Walk-ins are welcome to use the computers and other resources independently. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a nursing development professional, please email us at edelmancareercenter@inova.org.
