Inova's pediatric cancer program is closely integrated with Inova Fairfax Hospital Cancer Center. Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children has a 20-bed pediatric oncology inpatient unit. Each room offers a family-centered atmosphere and features a flat screen TV, DVD player and Wii system. Our outpatient pediatric oncology center is located at the Inova Pediatric Specialty Center at Hamaker Court.
We are dedicated to the care of children with suppressed immune systems and other complications resulting from cancer or its treatment. We provide bone marrow transplants for children and pediatric radiation therapy. We emphasize the use of outpatient therapies and offer a variety of support groups and medical support resources for the entire family.
