Inova employees budgeted to work 20 hours or more per week may choose from five different medical plan options. Medical benefits include prescription drug and vision coverage and generally become effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. Inova offers the following medical plan choices so you can select the coverage that best meets your needs:
- Aetna Preferred Provider Organization PPO2 Plan
- Aetna Preferred Provider Organization PPO1 Plan
- Aetna HealthFund
- Aetna Health Savings Account High Deductible Health Plan
- Aetna HMO
If you are budgeted to work more than 36 hours per week, you are also eligible to elect the Opt Out Credit option (cash to you instead of medical coverage). This option is available only if you have medical coverage under another plan, such as your spouse's.
