Course Description

Guidelines and manuscripts are widely available but decision making in individual patients involves clinical judgment. Through this highly practical and interactive 3-day course, attendees will have an opportunity to interact with experts in a smaller congenial group and to exchange approaches to patients with PSVT, atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, indications for defrillator and cardiac resynchronization therapy.  A special feature will be an in-depth and critical overview of risk stratification in the patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Learning Objectives

  • Assess the patient selection criteria for ablation therapy of AF and evaluate and implement the most recent technical approaches
  • Define the advantage of genetic testing in patients with idiopathic cardiac arrest and their families on an individualized basis and utilize it when appropriate
  • Discuss the approach to ablation of hemodynamically stable VT and implement this procedure in practice
  • Update on latest guidelines for risk stratification in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Registration

Registration will open this summer
