Inova Kellar Center is committed to providing educational programs for professionals in our community. Through the support of the Kellar Family Foundation, Kellar sponsors an annual Education Series to address a variety of topics and training issues. The 2013 Series is designed to support the Commonwealth’s current initiative of implementing a Systems of Care model approach to treating children and families in need of mental health services throughout Virginia.

At the core of a successful Systems of Care model is the ability to assess fidelity within the continuum. The use of Evidenced Based Practice(s) is critical to the ability to empirically measure efficacy and effectiveness of an array of interventions. The topics, speakers and supporting materials in this year’s series have been selected for the specific purpose to provide evidence based treatment strategies and approaches when working with children and families in the community, schools and private practice.
