Biography

Dr. Richey comes to Inova Internal Medicine – Old Town with nearly 20 years of internal medicine experience. Prior to joining Inova, he was in private practice in Alexandria. Dr. Richey has also served as a clinical preceptor at George Washington University School of Medicine. He has a special interest in preventive and diagnostic medicine. Dr. Richey decided to practice internal medicine because he likes managing the overall care of his patients, addressing all of their issues and coordinating treatment with their other physicians. The favorite part of his job is developing long-term trusting relationships with his patients. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys golf, fishing, home projects and reading.
