She has a special interest in women’s health, chronic disease management, aesthetic and preventive medicine. Dr. Umayam decided to practice family medicine because she wanted to provide continuing and comprehensive medical care, health maintenance and preventive medicine services across the entire frame of a lifetime. The favorite parts of her job are developing lasting relationships of mutual trust and respect with her patients and their families, and making a difference in their lives. She enjoys singing, traveling, cooking, and zumba.
