Biography
Dr. Castillo-Catoni is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. She comes to Inova Medical Group after serving as chief resident at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital. She has a special interest in management of diabetes, geriatric medicine, women’s health, and preventive medicine.
For as long as she can remember, Dr. Castillo-Catoni has felt a calling to community service along with a desire to study and manage disease. Internal medicine was a natural fit for the native of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her focus as a primary care provider is on optimizing each patient’s healthcare experience. She believes that establishing trust-based relationships and providing counseling and support to her patients and their family members is the first step to creating an ideal wellness plan at any stage in life.
Dr. Castillo-Catoni currently resides in Arlington, Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, baking, running, and spending time with her family.
