Biography
Dr. Patel is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. He joins Inova Medical Group – Mark Center with over 22 years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in hypertensive conditions, diabetes management, arthritis, adult nutrition and geriatrics.
Dr. Patel has been practicing in the DC metro area for more than two decades, regularly volunteering his time at local health fairs and mobile clinics. Most recently, he has been involved in public health initiatives in his native country of India, working with fellow physicians to coordinate first-response education workshops in rural communities.
Dr. Patel finds many aspects of primary care rewarding, particularly the opportunity to treat his patients across a broad spectrum of medicine, from wellness counseling to acute disease management. Dr. Patel currently lives in Fairfax Station, VA, with his wife. In his spare time, he likes to walk, hike, and spend time with their two adult daughters.
