About Oksana Lazareva, MD

Dr. Oksana Lazareva is a specialty care physician board certified in pediatric endocrinology and pediatrics. She is the Section Chief and Medical Director of Pediatric Endocrinology at Inova Children’s Multispecialty Clinic. She joined Inova in 2011 and has been practicing in Northern Virginia ever since.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Lazareva lived in New York, where she completed her residency training in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center in 2008 and fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at State University of New York (Downstate) in 2011.

Dr. Lazareva has expertise in managing a broad spectrum of pediatric endocrinology disorders including diabetes mellitus, thyroid and growth disorders, Turner’s syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome, adrenal disorders, and pituitary disorders.

She enjoys working with patients of variable ages, from newborns to adolescents. Her patient care philosophy is a team-based model with active engagement of patients and their families to be full participants in their care and medical decision making.

In her free time, Dr. Lazareva enjoys reading, spending time with her family, playing tennis and volleyball, hiking, and playing violin.
