America's Best Hospitals
Inova Fairfax Hospital is pleased to announce that it has once again been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of "America's Best Hospitals." The hospital was selected among the best in five specialties, more than any other hospital in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Find out more.

AARP Best Employer
Inova Health System is proud to be among the nation's select few "Best Employers for Workers Over 50," according to the American Association of Retired People (AARP), which honors those businesses that recognize the value of older workers. Inova was selected for offering such workforce initiatives as flexible scheduling and tuition assistance.

Working Mother Award
Working Mother magazine has named Inova Health System one of the nation's "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers." The award is given to organizations that recognize the value and needs of working families. This is the fourth time Inova has made the magazine's prestigious list of best companies in the country. As part of its "Employer of Choice" commitment, Inova managers are able to customize their employees' workplace experience, whether that means adoption assistance, elder care advice, career advancement or the flex-time needed to spend more time with children or aging parents.

Top 30 Companies for Executive Women
In an annual survey that measures women's representation among top-paid and top-tier positions at America's largest companies, the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) found in 2006 that Inova Health System is one of the nation's top 30 companies for executive women. In fact, Inova ranked in the in the top ten and was one of only three non-profit organizations named.

Magnet Award
Inova Fairfax Hospital and Inova Loudon Hospital are the proud recipients of the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet award. The Magnet Recognition Program® is the highest level of honor awarded by the ANCC and is accepted nationally as the gold standard in nursing excellence.

Senate Productivity and Quality Award
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital has been honored with the U.S. Senate Productivity and Quality Award for Virginia (SPQA), the Commonwealth's premier awards program for performance excellence. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital was identified as a model organization that has demonstrated excellence and maturity in its business approaches, deployment, and results.

Top Ten of Most Integrated Health Systems
Inova Health System has been ranked in the top 10 of the nation's 100 most integrated health systems. The 2007 honor marks the ninth consecutive year that Inova has been recognized in the annual report issued by Verispan, the nation's premier ratings system for quality in integrated healthcare networks.
