Health Care Plans

If you are an Inova employee budgeted to work 20 hours or more a week, you can choose from a menu of seven different health care plans for you and your family. The plans offer a wide range of options and different weekly deductions:

• Aetna Preferred Provider Organization Plan (PPO2) (vision and prescription benefits included)
• Aetna Preferred Provider Organization Plan (PPO1) (vision and prescription benefits included)
• Aetna Out-of-Area Plan (vision and prescription benefits included)
• Aetna HealthFund (vision and prescription benefits included)
• Aetna Health Savings Account (vision and prescription benefits included)
• Kaiser Permanente Signature HMO Plan (vision and prescription benefits included)
• An Opt Out Plan (cash to you instead of medical coverage)

The best news is that your medical benefits become effective the first day of the month following your date of hire.
