Tracy Rickard, RN

NICU, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital

• Tracy has been a nurse for 14 years, all spent at Inova!

• Tracy is a James Madison University graduate and an Inova Fairfax Hospital scholarship recipient. She is the management coordinator for the Inova Fair Oaks NICU, a job she not only manages to do well, but part-time. Tracy has always wanted to be a nurse, and Inova allows her to take care of people (which she truly enjoys), in addition to enjoying job security and flexibility. She loves her profession because it's so challenging. It demands critical thinking, autonomy, and creativity. Tracy's enthusiasm for nursing is matched only by her passion for just about everything else, especially her family. Inova makes it easy for this mom of three to be a nurse, as her children stay at the Inova Fair Oaks Hospital day care during the week.

• When she isn't working, Tracy enjoys hanging out with her "fun husband and three great kids." She also manages and plays on a co-ed flag football team!
