Rotating residents and medical students have the privilege of using the state-of-the-art Simulation Center in the VCU School of Medicine–Inova Campus.
The bimonthly procedural workshops allow residents and students to work with Department of Medicine faculty on learning specific procedural skills. Participants practice obtaining vascular access and lulmbar puncture on simulation models with faculty supervision and receive real-time feedback on their technical skills and medical knowledge.
