Teaching Rounds
Rounds, scheduled conferences and involvement by house staff members form the basis of the teaching program. Patient rounds are conducted by house staff during daily rounds, by attending physicians on a scheduled basis everyday, and by faculty making subspecialty rounds.
Scheduled conferences include subspecialty conferences, grand rounds, seminars in medicine, clinicopathological conferences, a morbidity and mortality conference, and chief's rounds. In addition, the chief of service and attendings from several subspecialties attend morning report each weekday.
