The Outcomes Research Program offers:

• Measurement of joint range of motion, muscle strength, muscle endurance, aerobic capacity (cardiac output and oxygen capacity), ambulation, grip strength.
• Measurement of disability, functional activity, mood, affect, health status and satisfaction and quality of life.

The Outcomes Research Program provides:

• Physician consultative services for design and selection of patient outcome measures best suited for populations to be studied.
• Functional assessment using laboratory and equipment available.
• Protocol management with ORP staff including:
  • Program/protocol management (Jillian Kallman)
  • Data management (Yun Fang)
  • Physical therapist, Functional Assessment Lab assistance (Patrice Winter),
  • Statistical support (Maria Stepanova)
  • Medical director, Functional Assessment Lab (Naomi Lynn Gerber, MD)
