American Diabetes Association
Step Out to Fight Diabetes. Inova Diabetes Center works with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) on various programs throughout the year. One of the major events Inova Health System and its employees participate in is the ADA's "Step Out to Fight Diabetes" fundraising walk.
Each year this walk raises millions of dollars nationwide for the ADA's efforts to find a cure for diabetes. You can show your support for diabetes research, information and advocacy efforts by giving a monetary donation or becoming a team member.

American Diabetes Month. Inova Diabetes Center reminds you that November is American Diabetes Month. Watch for special promotions sponsored by the American Diabetes Association to bring added awareness to diabetes and the continued efforts to find a cure for this disease.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
Join the Inova diabetes team for its annual "Walk to Cure Diabetes." This annual event supports the mission of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through ongoing research.

Inova Diabetes Center Day Camp
Inova Diabetes Center Day Camp is a chance for kids with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to enjoy a fun day of outdoor activities with other kids their age who also deal with diabetes. Click here for more information.
