Dr. Madhu Henry received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Russian Studies at George Washington University. She went on to earn her medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Henry completed her residency in internal medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. During residency she received special training in HIV and Hepatitis B/C treatment. She completed her three years as a National Health Corp Scholar at Unity Health Care, serving the underserved and uninsured.

Dr. Henry has spent the last eight years serving the Fairfax community and building relationships with patients that foster healthy outcomes. Dr. Henry has worked with communities that had limited access to medicine and launched a clinic in Falls Church, VA, to serve the surrounding homeless population. She has focused her continuing medical education with the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine, earning special training in herbal and Ayurvedic medicine as well as physiatry.

Dr. Henry is dedicated to the prevention of disease, focusing on diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol management and their cumulative risk on the cardiovascular system. It is her desire to blend both her academic knowledge of Western medicine and background training in Eastern medicine to serve the community. She hopes that an understanding of both worlds will allow patients to have better access to health management strategies and lead to better outcomes.

Dr. Henry has four children and two rescue dogs. She speaks Spanish, Tamil, English and a little Russian. She is a vegetarian and likes to practice meditation and yoga.
