The Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME), located at the Physicians Conference Center at Inova Fairfax Hospital, is here to provide new and relevant educational opportunities for the physicians of Inova Health System and those throughout the region. The Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Medical Society of Virginia, which enables us to provide Category 1 credit for all of our programs. Each program must meet the Essentials and Standards of the Medical Society of Virginia and be approved by the CME Review Committee.

There are a few different ways to participate in CME. You can attend a program and apply what you learn at your practice. You could be a speaker at a program or, if you are an Inova Health System physician, you could become a program director.
