I chose Inova because it is a small, closely knit program, with dedicated faculty committed toward teaching residents. It is also the largest pediatric hospital in the Northern Virginia area with a highly diverse patient population, hence a lot of opportunities for me to learn and expand my clinical experience. The working environment is great and the people here are really friendly and helpful.

I felt that the residents were happy here, attendings cared about your education and knowledge. Also, they care about you as a person. The patient population is very diverse, and there are a variety of diseases, some of which I only read about in textbooks before.
