The Washington Neuroradiology Review (Feb. 5 & 6, 2011) and the Dr. Kenneth M. Earle Memorial Neuropathology Review (Feb. 7-11, 2011) are designed with the Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, Radiologist, and Pathologist in mind, but we welcome all those who would like to increase their knowledge regarding the neurosciences.

Washington Neuroradiology Review

Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6, 2011  (Saturday: 7 a.m. - 5:05 p.m.;  Sunday: TBA)
This two-day course is designed for radiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and pathologists as a review and update of a wide variety of topics relating to neuroradiology and neuroimaging. The conference offers top-quality education and the opportunity to talk directly with expert faculty.

Conference Objectives:
  • To illustrate basic concepts in neuroradiology by using radiologic pathologic correlation to enhance practitioner knowledge and skill.  • Understand the difference between Traumatic and Non-Traumatic CNS Emergencies.  • Review of imaging different portions of the nervous system.


Dr. Kenneth M. Earle Memorial Neuropathology Review

Monday, February 7 through Friday, February 11, 2011
This comprehensive five-day review course offers top-quality education to individuals seeking to learn more about pathology in neurosciences. This conference is in honor of Kenneth M. Earle, MD who created this program to aid in the preparation of specialty board preparation. Friday’s subject matter will focus on the neuromuscular system.

Conference Objectives:
• Enhance knowledge of the pathology and recent developments in the pathophysiology of common and unique disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system and skeletal muscle.  • Familiarization with recently recognized pathologic processes related to the central and peripheral nervous system and skeletal muscle.  • Improved understanding of basic histopathologic, histochemical, immunohistochemical and untrastructual featured of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system and skeletal muscle.  • Insight into clinical, radiologic, pathologic correlations, and prognostic factors of central nervous system lesions.

Monday:    7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Tuesday:   8 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
      Thursday:  8 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Friday:    7 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
