Honor your favorite nurse in time for Nurses Week, May 6-12
Recognize a nurse or nurses by making them a "star" and support continuing education programs for nurses at Inova. Your Nursing Stars can include an individual nurse, all the nurses on a particular patient care unit at an Inova hospital or facility, or any nurse anywhere. It's up to you!
You can honor and/or memorialize nurses or former nurses you know, including family members and friends. The more Nursing Stars you name, the more you help all Inova Health System nurses expand their knowledge and skills.
Nursing Stars receive special recognition and a special star-shaped engraved lapel pin.
Sponsorship levels
- $1,000 for an entire patient care unit of nurses
- $400 for 10 nurses
- $200 for 5 nurses
- $50 for 1 nurse (or per star up to 4 nurses)
There are three easy ways to make your favorite nurse a star
1.
Online
Complete the sponsorship online. To ensure your online sponsorship is properly designated, check the box for "Nursing Stars" in the "designation options" section and indicate the name(s) of the nurse(s) you are honoring, along with the unit and hospital where they work, in the box for "other gift instructions."
2.
Mail or fax
Mail or fax your sponsorship to the Inova Health System Foundation.
Print and complete the sponsorship form 
If you are an Inova employee your sponsorship can be deducted from your payroll.
