Located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, Inova Cancer Center – Fairfax has been ranked by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer in the nation's top ten percent of cancer centers. Since 1968, it has retained continuous accreditation as a teaching hospital/cancer program by the Commission on Cancer. More cancer patients are treated at our Fairfax center than any other cancer center in Virginia or Washington, DC.

The center has the only radiation oncology program in the metropolitan area accredited by the American College of Radiology. See our brochure for details about our innovative program.

Inova Cancer Center – Fairfax is also the only facility in Northern Virginia to offer bone marrow transplants.

Research remains an integral part of our cancer program. Affiliated physicians enroll patients in national pharmaceutical-treatment and physician-initiated institutional trials.
