Radiation Oncologist
Samir P. Kanani, MD, graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BA in psychology and biology. His medical degree was completed in Galveston, Texas and his residency was completed at the University of Maryland. His final years of training were focused on brachytherapy and radiosurgery.
Dr. Kanani came to Inova Fairfax Hospital in 2004. His professional interests include radiosurgery and IMRT as well as the treatment of cancers of the prostate, brain, lung, esophagus, head and neck, sarcoma, and gastrointestinal tract.
