Interventional Oncologist
Dr. Dimitrios Papadouris earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, completed a rotating internship and residency in Radiology at the University of British Columbia, and went on to a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, in St. Louis in 2003.
Dr. Papadouris has been with the Association of Alexandria Radiologists, PC and on the medical staffs of Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital since 2006. Dr. Papadouris' main practice interest is Interventional Oncology. He has lectured locally and nationally as well as serving as the principal investigator at the Alexandria site of the multi-centered trial Drug-Eluting Bead, Irinotecan (DEBIRI) Therapy of Liver Metastasis From Colon Cancer With Systemic FOLFOX6.
