Ellen Kessler, MD, MPH, FACP
Occupational Health Services
In her role as medical director, Dr. Kessler uses her clinical expertise and management skills to oversee Inova's Occupational Health Centers ensuring integrated and consistent delivery of care. She will also focus on new program development and improving patient and client satisfaction through process improvement and clinical protocols.
Dr. Kessler received her medical degree from Georgetown University and brings over 25 years of occupational health experience and directorship to the program and is board certified in occupational medicine and internal medicine. She has worked with many national and local municipalities and agencies.
Mary Ann Hollman, MD, MS, joined Inova in early 2014 as lead physician at Dulles South, to provide medical oversight for occupational health services including post-offer and employee medical clearance exams, OSHA surveillance exams, and DOT exams. She has built a career as a trusted advisor to the occupational health industry regarding all facets of operations, from case management and safety regulations, to facilities, staffing and training.
Dr. Hollman has worked in occupational health since completing her medical education at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1998. After relocating to the St. Louis, MO area for residency, Dr. Hollman spent 21 years there serving as medical director for various regional and national occupational health care providers. She first relocated to northern VA in 2009 to act as medical review officer for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. Dr. Hollman has numerous occupational medicine certifications including disaster preparedness and emergency planning, spirometry, and specialized medical examination. She has experience in quality assurance, workers’ compensation and medical examination.
Vasudha Joshi, MD, has been seeing occupational health patients since 1998. She served as the medical director of Inova Urgent Care Center in Vienna and now sees patients at Inova Occupational Health Center – Alexandria.
Dr. Joshi has extensive experience and knowledge working with numerous county agencies and private companies in Northern Virginia. She is very familiar with requirements of these numerous companies and is excellent in communicating with her patients and their employers. Her experience includes physical exams for firefighters as well as police and sheriff's departments and other environmental agencies that do HAZMAT work. She also provides care to injured workers and performs fitness for duty examinations.
Nandini Koka, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Koka is the lead physician for Inova Urgent Care Centers. She has more than ten years experience providing primary care medicine. For the past six years she has practiced as an urgent care and occupational health physician.
Dr. Koka's expertise in urgent care medicine brought her back to her native Northern Virginia. She grew up in Northern Virginia and attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Dr. Koka received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency training at Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Patrick McCarty, MD, has a long and diversified career serving the occupational health care needs of patients and employers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Board certified in occupational medicine, he attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University and will complete his residency program at the University of Pennsylvania in June of 2013.
Dr. McCarty’s main focus at Inova is to utilize his extensive background by partnering with public sector clients in Northern Virginia. He is committed to ongoing education and improving workplace health and safety thereby providing the highest quality of care possible to those he feels privileged to serve.
Warren Adams is Director of Business Operations for Ambulatory Services. Mr. Adams has more than nine years of human resources experience in the healthcare industry. His experience has provided him with a solid understanding and working knowledge of performance management, strategic planning, leadership/employee development, workforce planning and employee relations management.
Currently, Warren has operational oversight for the Inova Alexandria Occupational Health Center as well as the Dulles South, Vienna, Purcellville and Centerville urgent care centers. A critical component of his job is working with the client representatives to ensure that we are exceeding the needs of each patient and organization we serve.
