Medical experts agree that the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu is with a flu shot. That is why Inova offers numerous in-hospital and regional flu clinics for the convenience of you and your family. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (
CDC) encourages
everyone 6 months and older to get an annual flu shot.
Inova will provide flu shots at our community clinics and in our hospitals from September through December 2011.
Please note that children under the age of 4 must receive their vaccine at a hospital. Adults and children over the age of 4 can receive flu shots at a hospital or clinic.
