Mental Health Services

Inova Juniper Program offers mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. Clients meet with a clinical social worker for a comprehensive psychosocial assessment.
  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are offered to all clients who need help to cope with an HIV diagnosis.

  • A clinical social worker may provide short or long-term individual, couples and/or family therapy. Life issues addressed may include pregnancy planning, parenting skills, marriage and family, divorce, housing, financial stressors, employment and entitlement counseling.

  • Support groups help meet the specific needs of individuals.

  • "Health Education Alternatives for Teens" provides community outreach for prevention and education, HIV testing and counseling, social and medical support to teens and young adults aged 13-24 who are at risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
