Outpatient Family Services
Outpatient Family Services offers a continuum of services including group, individual and family therapy. Treatment is based on the belief that clients in need of services are most effectively treated in the least restrictive setting available to manage their presenting problem. Therapists use a family system approach, which seeks to assess and address problems from a holistic perspective. Emphasis is on relationships, shared responsibility and exploring the context in which problems are occurring.
Intensive Family Therapy is offered as a brief intensive intervention in a time of crisis. Sessions are typically 90-minutes and the intervention typically spans over 8-12 sessions. The intervention is intentionally short, so that the family can move to less intensive services once the crisis is resolved. This therapeutic intervention can address a range of problems from acting out behaviors, substance abuse problems, mood and anxiety disorders and other crisis oriented problems.
