Trauma Survivor Network (formerly Rebuild)

The Trauma Survivor Network at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Inova Children's Hospital focuses on the concerns and needs of recovering trauma patients and their caregivers.

One key to the success of our program is ongoing dialogue between healthcare professionals and the patients themselves. Trauma survivors share their experiences with clinicians to enhance understanding of the trauma experience and the patients’ emotional needs. Lively dialogue provides both professional and survivor with an opportunity to learn from each other.

Support groups

The Trauma Survivor Network provides education and support groups for current and former patients recovering from general trauma, spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury, as well as family members, friends and caregivers. All aspects of the program are free to participants and coordinated by a clinical social worker. Learn more about Trauma Survivor Network support groups arrow
