Stroke Services
Stroke is a type of cardiovascular disease that affects the arteries leading to and within the brain. A stroke occurs when a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain is either blocked by a clot or bursts. Time is critical in stroke treatment. The faster you get to the emergency room, the better your chance for a positive outcome.
Stroke is a medical emergency. If you experience stroke warning signs, call 911.
