All of Inova's pediatric locations provide seamless access to our highest level of specialized care at Inova Children's Hospital (formerly Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children). As the only children’s hospital in Northern Virginia, Inova Children's Hospital offers a complete range of services in more than 30 pediatric medical specialties. It is home to Northern Virginia's only pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), the only pediatric tertiary care center and the largest subspecialty Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in Northern Virginia. It serves a 19-hospital referral base located throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Inova Loudoun Hospital has widely expanded its pediatric services and works collaboratively with Inova Children's Hospital to seamlessly offer a higher level of care if needed. Inova Loudoun Hospital is equipped with a dedicated pediatric emergency department and other pediatric specialty services including a level IIIA NICU and a new state-of-the-art 14-bed pediatric inpatient unit.
