Inova Fair Oaks Hospital cares for babies and children through the age of 18 and offers an in-house pediatric hospitalist 24 hours a day. Our pediatric unit offers eight private rooms decorated in colorful, child-friendly themes. We offer a seamless connection to Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children – the only children’s hospital, level I trauma center and pediatric intensive care unit in Northern Virginia.

Each of our private rooms contain a color television, a selection of children’s movies and a bed that comfortably accommodates overnight stays by a family member. We offer a playroom filled with toys for children of all ages. Child-size tables, couches and chairs help our pediatric patients feel more at home. And we feature an "ouch free zone" on our pediatric unit, where nurses use a numbing cream prior to administering an injection.
