Pamela S. Chesterton
Pam graduated from The University of South Alabama with a BS degree in physical therapy. She worked for many years in acute care settings and then became interested in adult neurological rehabilitation. She worked in a neurology rehabilitation setting and outpatient orthopedic clinics.
Bhumi Desai, PT
Bhumi is a new addition to our team at Dulles South. She graduated from SNDT University, Mumbai with BS in Physical Therapy. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics since 2004 and she has special interest in treating patients with knee impairments. Bhumi is bilingual and speaks Hindi.
Amy Hoffman, CMT
Amy graduated from the RAV School of Massage in 1999 after obtaining her B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 1997. She has worked in the Northern Virginia area as a massage therapist since May 1999 and in 2006, Amy received her certification in Medical Massage from The Medical Massage Office. While Amy does tailor her therapy sessions to the client’s needs, she has focused her continuing education on deep tissue techniques. Her specialties include trigger point therapy, sports massage, muscle restore technique and neuromuscular therapy. Recently, she has also added myofascial therapy and cranial/sacral therapy to her skill set. Amy is also certified in pregnancy massage and reflexology.
Danelle Leunenberger, MSPT Danelle graduated valedictorian of her class from College Misericordia with a Bachelor in health sciences and a Masters in physical therapy. She has experience working in aquatic and pediatric therapy while working primarily in an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting. She has completed continuing education courses with an emphasis on extremities and she has learned new techniques.
Jason Oliver, PTA
Jason received his Physical Therapist Assistant Associates degree from Northern Virginia Community College in May 2011. Prior to his Physical Therapy education, he worked as a physical therapy tech at an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. Upon graduation, he immediately started a full time PTA position at IPTC Dulles South. He has a special interest in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Jason leads our Total Body Fitness and Open Gym Programs.
Jennifer Robinette, Senior LPTA
Jen graduated from Elon College in 1997 with her Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine with a minor in Business Administration. She began working with Inova Physical Therapy Center in 1998 as a Physical Therapy Technician. She went on to complete her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2000 from Northern Virginia Community College. Upon completion of school, she worked at our Tyson’s clinic, where she achieved Senior Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant status. She transferred to Dulles South where she has recently assumed responsibilities for the Outcomes data for IPTC
which measures the effectiveness of the treatment provided by our
clinicians. Jen is also an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor who takes pride in educating our future clinicians.
Behnaz Struthers, DPT
Behnaz graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from George Mason University in 2000 and then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Marymount University in 2005. She has worked for Inova since 2005 at the Springfield clinic where serves on the Rewards and Recognition team. She is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor and serves as APTA's Northern District Treasurer. Behnaz was promoted to the Senior PT position in 2009 with IPTC in recognition of her dedication and commitment she exhibits towards her patients and colleagues. She actively volunteers in the community with the DC Divas women’s professional football team and the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. She is also bilingual and speaks Farsi.
