Daren Moat, PT, MBA, Clinic Director
Daren joined us in 2006 and is clinical director. He graduated from Howard University with his Bachelor's Degree in physical therapy. He has practiced in a variety of settings, including, orthopedics, acute care, home health, sub acute and skilled nursing care. He incorporates medical massage into his treatment approach. Daren completed his Master's Degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and is also an American Physical Therapy Association credentialed clinical instructor.
Lauren Branly, DPT
Lauren graduated from Pepperdine University in 2002 with a BS degree in nutritional science. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from George Washington University in 2008. Since then she has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting and recently came to Inova in 2012. She prefers to treat with a combination of hands-on approach and strengthening.
Quang Bui, DPT, ATC
Staff Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer
“Q” has been part of the Inova team since 2007. He graduated from Garder-Webb University with a Bachelors of Science degree in athletic training. He worked as a graduate assistant at East Tennessee State University and he transitioned into their physical therapy program and graduated with a doctorate. Quang is also a board-certified athletic trainer and has worked with the Washington Bayhawks as an assistant trainer. Quang is bilingual and speaks Vietnamese.
Pamela S. Chesterton
Pam graduated from The University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy. She worked for many years in acute care settings and then became interested in adult neurological rehabilitation. She has worked in a neurology rehabilitation setting, and outpatient orthopedic clinics.
Bhumi Desai, PT
Bhumi graduated from SNDT University, Mumbai with BS in physical therapy. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics since 2004 and she has special interest in treating patients with knee impairments. Bhumi is bilingual and speaks Hindi.
Gail McCall, CMT
Gail graduated in 1991 from Radford University with a Bachelor's degree in human resource management. After working for 10 years at Sprint in data telecom, she made a career change to the wellness industry in which she truly felt at home. Since 2001 she has been a licensed master esthetician and received her massage therapy training from AKS Massage School and became nationally certified in 2002. She offers Swedish, deep tissue, NMT, hot stone and prenatal to name a few and is always open to learning new modalities.
James Park, LMT,OMD, ND
James always tries to provide therapeutic results for his patients by seeking the cause of the patient's pain. His therapeutic massage is based on an academic background of oriental medicine and naturopathy. James participated as medical staff for the U.S. National Fencing Association and U.S. Junior Short Track Speed Skating Association. His specialty in massage therapy includes medical massage, sports massage, deep tissue, cranio sacral therapy, shiatsu, tui na, acupressure and swedish massage. He is a master of martial arts, including tae kwon do, tai chi and ken do. James also is a talented singer who has won several competitions.
Cindy Perdomo-Martin, LPTA
Cindy completed her associate of applied science degree as a physical therapist assistant in 2009. Prior to joining Inova, she worked as a physical therapist assistant in outpatient orthopedics. Cindy uses a combination of manual therapy techniques and has a special interest in working with post-surgical conditions including spinal issues and shoulder and knee impairments. She is also currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in health services at Strayer University. Cindy is bilingual and speaks Spanish.
Jennifer Robinette, Senior LPTA
Jen graduated from Elon College in 1997 with her Bachelor of Science in sports medicine with a minor in business administration. She began working with Inova Physical Therapy Center in 1998 as a physical therapy technician. She went on to complete her Associate of Applied Science as a physical therapist assistant in 2000 from Northern Virginia Community College. Upon completion of school, she worked at our Tyson’s clinic, where she achieved senior licensed physical therapist assistant status. She transferred to Dulles South where she has recently assumed responsibilities for the outcomes data for IPTC which measures the effectiveness of the treatment provided by our clinicians. Jen is also an APTA credentialed clinical Instructor who takes pride in educating our future clinicians.
Behnaz Struthers, DPT
Behnaz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from George Mason University in 2000 and went on to earn her doctorate of physical therapy degree at Marymount University in 2005. She has worked for Inova since 2005 at the Springfield clinic where serves on the rewards and recognition team. She is an APTA certified clinical Instructor and serves as APTA's Northern District treasurer. Behnaz was promoted to the senior PT position in 2009 with IPTC in recognition of her dedication and commitment she exhibits toward her patients and colleagues. She actively volunteers in the community with the DC Divas women’s professional football team and the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. She is also bilingual and speaks Farsi.
Marianne Wandishin, NCTMB
Marianne graduated from California State University, Fullerton, in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. Her passion for health and wellness was instilled as a child while growing up in Southern California. As an adult and during her 16 years of travel as a flight attendant, she experienced many holistic remedies in places such as India, Egypt, Japan, Europe and the Caribbean. This led her to graduate from AKS Massage School in Herndon, VA, in 2001. She is trained in several massage techniques including: Swedish, deep tissue, cranial sacral therapy, prenatal massage, reflexology and la stone therapy. She is currently enrolled in a nursing program at Northern Virginia Community College, on track to graduate in May 2014. Her hobbies include maintaining good habits of health by eating well, meditating, exercising regularly and coxing a crew team.
