Julie Rimel, PT, DPT, CLT, Clinic Director
Julie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University. Her undergraduate studies and Masters of Physical Therapy was completed at Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania. She also is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and specializes in Women’s Health (Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Pain Disorders). Julie started her career with Inova Physical Therapy Center in 2004 after serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. She was promoted to Clinic Director in June 2008. She is chairperson of the Senior Clinical Ladder, and is a member of the Rewards and Recognition Team. Julie is a member of the VFW and is very active with fundraising for local events such as Relay for Life, Ovarian Cancer Walk, and the Hydrocephalus Walk.
Candice Conerly, PT
Andrea Daly, PTA
Candice has been with the team since 2008. She graduated from Louisiana State University Medical Center with a Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She has over a dozen years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and aquatic therapy. She enjoys treating shoulder, spine and lower extremity problems, as well as helping those recovering from recent surgeries. She and her husband have traveled extensively during his service in the Air Force.
Andrea received her Associate in General Studies in 1994, and completed her Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree in 1996 from Northern Virginia Community College. She has taken many continuing education courses throughout the years, and specializes in McConnell Taping. She was employed at Patriot Outpatient Sports Medicine in Burke, Virginia for 2 years before joining Inova in 1998.
Sheila Mannion, PTA
Sheila received her BA in biology from West Chester University. She received her physical therapy assistant degree from Northern Virginia Community College. Sheila has worked in various clinics before she joined the Inova physical therapy team.
Mary McAfee-Faught, LMT
Mary is the massage therapist on staff at Inova Physical Therapy Centers in Woodbridge and Mount Vernon. She graduated with honors in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mary received massage therapy training from Eastwind School of Holistic Healing and her national certification from The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She offers many forms of massage, including shiatsu, sports therapy, heated stone massage, Swedish massage and pregnancy massage. She enjoys learning and she is continuing her education in all forms of healing.
Mona Mistry, PT
Mona attended the University of Florida where she graduated cum laude in exercise physiology and went on to complete her Master of physical therapy. Mona interned at the University of Florida’s biomechanics lab and Shands Medical Center. Following graduation, she worked at a skilled nursing facility. Mona began her career with Inova as an inpatient therapist at Inova Alexandria Hospital where she specialized in joint replacement rehabilitation. She moved to the outpatient setting in 2009. She is currently an American Physical Therapy Association credentialed clinical instructor and enjoys mentoring therapy students.
Erin Moreno, OT
Erin earned a Bachelor of sociology, an Associate’s degree in occupational therapy and then earned a Master of occupational therapy. She has worked in outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities. She enjoys fundraising for worthy causes, recently Erin ran in the Marine Corps Marathon raising money for ALS. She plans to run in future marathons to fundraise for other causes.
Rachel Morrison, MPT, DPT
Rachel joined the team in 2005 and she is currently a senior therapist. She attended Colgate University where she obtained a BA in chemistry. She graduated from Shenandoah University with a Master of physical therapy and then went on to earn her Doctoral of physical therapy. Rachel earned direct access certification and she continues advanced coursework.
Andrea Oner, PT
Andrea is a physical therapist and joined the team in 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy in Colombia, South America. In South America, she taught physical therapy classes including orthopedics, massage, and electro-therapy at the university. Her next career step is to become an orthopedic certified specialist.
Debra Perry, PTA
Debbie earned her Associate degree for physical therapy assistants as well as an Associate degree in business management. She is currently a senior physical therapy assistant. Debbie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and she is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor. She has received an award from APTA for advanced proficiency in musculoskeletal therapy and an award from Northern Virginia Community College for clinical instructor of the year. Debbie actively participates in many different community service events.
Denise Rummler, PT Tech, Exercise Specialist
Denise earned her BS in exercise science from Old Dominion University. Denise has also been a personal trainer for many years and is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a health/fitness instructor. Denise runs the Total Body Fitness program in Woodbridge. She also holds prenatal and postpartum certification from Desert Southwest Fitness. She is constantly striving to learn new things and enjoys attending fitness education courses. She is active in the community and has participated in Christmas in April, Celebrate Fairfax, and Adopt-A-Family.
