Services
Inova Urgent Care Centers are staffed by board-certified/board-eligible physicians licensed in Virginia. A physician, nurse, radiologic technologist and laboratory technician are always on duty at each center. Inova Urgent Care Centers provide the following services (may vary by location):
- Treatment for minor illness and injury
- Laboratory tests and X-rays
- Treatment for work-related injury
- Physical exams
- Audiometry and vision screening
- Alcohol and drug testing
- Camp, sport and school physicals
- Worker’s compensation cases
- Pre-employment physicals
- Flu shots
- Immigration medical examinations
- Travel medicine
Fees – payment and insurance
Keep in mind that some insurance companies and HMOs require patients to have a referral from their primary care physicians before being seen at an urgent care center. Fees are due and payable at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks and major credit cards. A health insurance membership card should be presented at registration. We participate in and accept assignment from most insurance plans. We are a participating Medicare provider. Patients are responsible for any co-pay, deductibles or noncovered services.
