Pregnancy is usually a joyous time for families. But for women diagnosed with a serious complication during pregnancy, it can be a time of anxious worry, uncertainty and unfortunately, sometimes grieving. In these challenging situations, the Perinatal Concerns Program offers families the encouragement and emotional support they need.

Services of the Perinatal Concerns Program:
- In-depth education about the mother and baby's diagnosis
- Advance tours of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and perinatal inpatient units
- Referrals for genetic screening
- Coordination of care
- Assistance developing an adaptive birth plan
- Referrals to specialists such as surgeons, cardiologists and geneticists
- Referrals to peer-to-peer support in the community and support groups
- Referrals to hospice
- Assistance with funeral arrangements
- Follow-up education and counseling related to future pregnancies
- Referrals to NICU Family Support Program
- Bereavement counseling resources
