Inova HealthPlex at Franconia/Springfield offers a Women’s Diagnostic Imaging Center dedicated to helping maintain breast and general health, we offer screening mammograms, comprehensive mammograms and breast sonograms to detect early signs of disease.
We have digital mammography
At the Women’s Imaging Center located at the HealthPlex, your health means everything to us. That is why we invested in digital mammography – to make sure our patients have the most advanced technologies and treatments to fight cancer. A recent landmark study has proven digital mammography especially effective for:
- Women under 50
- Women who are pre-menopausal or in its beginning stages
- Women with dense breasts

Mammopad for your comfort
We make an extra effort to help ensure your comfort during a mammogram by offering the soft assistance of Mammopad. This foam-like breast pillow reduces the discomfort of compression during a mammogram while still providing high-quality X-rays. We also offer:
- Bone densitometry
- CT Scans
- MRIs
- Ultrasound
