Back to Inova in the Community
Inova Congregational Health Partnership
Inova Congregational Health Partnership (CHP) collaborates with faith communities, non-profit organizations and government agencies throughout Northern Virginia to further mutual goals for community health and wholeness.
Together we build an infrastructure and support system that encourages better health among congregations, with respect for diverse multi-cultural and multi-faith needs and preferences. We honor the unique nature of each congregation’s desired health ministry and its form of spiritual expression.
Since 1999, Inova has supported these essential partnerships through its Community Health Division. Congregational Health Partnership is an important part of Inova's ongoing effort to improve the health of the residents we serve.
Each faith community is unique
Just as each faith community is unique, so is each process of health ministry development and sustenance. Congregational Health Partnership staff are eager to provide individualized consultation, including assistance with a congregational needs assessment survey.
Congregational Health Partnership seeks to strengthen the connection between faith and health. We build upon the trust and relationships people have in their faith communities for health promotion and wellness of spirit, mind and body of the individual, families and communities.
As a service of Inova's Community Affairs, Congregational Health Partnership seeks to improve the health of persons, families and communities in Northern Virginia through partnerships with health ministries in multi-faith communities.
