Meet Cliff Russell
"We'll be working hard, but I promise you, we'll have fun doing it."
Cliff Russell launched his NFL career with the Washington Redskins in 2002 as a third round draft pick. He went on to play with other teams, most recently the Denver Broncos. But right now he's sharing his passion for health and fitness with iPATH's participants in Northern Virginia.
Cliff's years as a professional athlete taught him that each of us is responsible for caring for our body.
"I view my body as a temple," he says. "You only get one body. You have to respect it. You can't put junk in it and not exercise. You put junk in, you get junk out . That will be one of the first lessons we'll go over as part of my work with iPATH."
This professional athlete is in top form, and he applies his own brand of fitness philosophy with iPATH participants and at his business, Russell Fitness in Ashburn, VA. He and his trainers emphasize an individualized approach to evaluate, motivate and educate clients about health and fitness needs.
"We'll be working hard," he says. "But I promise you, we'll have fun doing it."
