Our 12 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides care to a number of different patients including cardiac, respiratory, and renal. To help ensure the best possible outcomes we provide our patients with advanced technology like our new eICU system designed to enhance patient safety. The eICU network complements patients? bedside care by providing around the clock coverage by a remotely located team of critical care specialists. It has a proven track record for saving lives and combines the latest improvements in medical technology with the clinical expertise of the ICU?s specially trained team of nurses and physicians.
The ICU is staffed by a team of intensivists - defined as a physician who is certified in critical care medicine, along with nurses and respiratory therapists experienced in the care of ICU patients. Our one-to-two nurse to patient ratio further assures quality care.
