This is the information desk closest to the gray patient and visitor parking area. In addition to providing general information and assistance, the information desk is the reception and sign-in area for patients being admitted and for inpatients having surgery. After hours, patients should report directly to the Tower Registration, located around the corner, a short walk from the Tower lobby.

The surgical information desk, managed by Inova Fairfax Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children volunteers, is located in the lobby of the Inova Surgery Center. It is used to: check in and direct surgical outpatients, provide general patient and visitor information and assistance, and provide registration and admission services for all obstetric, gynecology and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. The surgical information desk also is where physicians and nurses often meet with family members to report patient information.
