Meet Dr. Fazel
Ali Fazel, MD, serves as medical director of the Center for Advanced Endoscopy at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Fazel comes to Inova Health System from the University of Florida where he served as Program Director for advanced endoscopy.
Dr. Fazel received his medical degree from the National University of Iran and completed his internal medicine training at Wright State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Fazel completed his gastroenterology fellowship at St. Louis University. He then underwent fellowship for advanced endoscopy at St. Luke’s Hospital. After completing his post-graduate training, he served as faculty member at the University of Florida. Dr. Fazel has been recognized nationally for his work in the field of endoscopy.
