Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children is devoted to the health care of infants, children and adolescents in the Northern Virginia area. We are located on the campus of Inova Health System’s flagship hospital, 753-bed Inova Fairfax Hospital, in Falls Church, VA, where we share state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team approach, linking research, teaching and patient care. As Northern Virginia’s only pediatric tertiary care center, we provide only the highest level of care for our young patients.
Children have unique needs that require special expertise, commitment and dedication. Our 500-plus employees and over 400-member medical staff provide not only the highest quality of care but also the special touches and compassion that are essential when taking care of kids. More than 40 medical subspecialties are represented at our 157-bed facility that includes the area’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and subspecialty level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Named as one of the Top 25 children’s hospitals in the nation by Child magazine, Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children is a member of the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI), participating in the PICU Focus Group. We are also a member of the Vermont Oxford Neonatal Network.
