A Comprehensive Team Approach The nurses in our pediatric oncology unit are specially trained and certified in oncology, and all of our services are provided in a child-centered environment that provides compassionate support for the entire family. In addition, the physicians at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children are supported by multidisciplinary teams in 40 subspecialties who are available to discuss patient diagnoses, treatment options and after-care.
