Inova Fairfax Hospital Names Patricia Conway-Morana, RN, Chief Nurse Executive

Falls Church, VA—Inova Fairfax Hospital is pleased to announce that Patricia
Conway-Morana, RN, has accepted the position of chief nurse executive,
effective September 5.
Conway-Morana, with nearly 20 years experience in
health care, has held several nurse
manager positions. She worked most
recently as a senior management consultant with ACS
Healthcare
Solutions.
Conway-Morana served as senior vice president and chief nurse
executive at Carilion Health
System in Roanoke, VA. She also held the
position of vice president and chief nurse executive
at Columbus Regional
Healthcare System in Columbus, GA. In that role, Conway-Morana
was
responsible for a variety of services, including nursing, operating room
and emergency services.
In addition, Conway-Morana has been a member of the
Clinical Transformation Group and
has served as Magnet reviewer for the
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

qualified individual who will bring new depth to our CNE

her
leadership will help guide our nursing program as we work to better serve our
patients.”
Conway-Morana holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Nursing and
Business Administration, and
a Masters of Administration degree from
Lynchburg College.
