Medical Experts and Breast Cancer Survivors Share Knowledge and Stories
Falls Church, VA— Join the fight against breast cancer and learn how to save
a life at Inova Fairfax Hospital’s seventh annual Breast Health Education Day on
Tuesday, Oct. 16. The public is invited to meet and speak with doctors, nurses,
therapists and breast cancer survivors.
Learn how to perform breast
self-exams and see how the experts assess mammograms and MRI films. Staff
from Life with Cancer®, as well as Inova’s Breast Cancer Navigator, will be
present to answer questions and provide information about the services they
provide for patients and their families. Last year’s event drew more than 400
people from the community.
