Inova Mount Vernon Hospital Ranked 'Excellent' By Physicians

Alexandria, VA— Physicians who want ‘excellence’ practice at Inova Mount Vernon
Hospital according to a recent satisfaction survey conducted by the Professional
Research Consultants, Inc., (PRC) a firm which performs annual physician
surveys.
“We have a commitment to the satisfaction of our physicians,” said
Barbara Doyle, CEO, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. “We are delighted that so
many of our programs and services ranked in the top 10% and 25%
nationally.”
The survey found that laboratory services, inpatient rehab,
emergency department and medical records scored in the top 10 percent nationally
for physicians who believe the quality of these services were excellent. Other
areas that scored within the top 25 percent were radiology, patient safety,
pathology, anesthesia, and being great place to practice medicine.
These
rankings were taken over the course of three months from more than 800
physicians in a variety of specialties from nearly 400 hospitals.
PRC is a
research advisory company contracted to conduct telephone surveys and analysis
of physicians and patient satisfaction for Inova Health System.
