Public Transportation

Bus and rail schedules are available at the information desks in the tower lobby of Inova Fairfax Hospital or in the lobby of Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children and Inova Fairfax Hospital Women's Center.

Metrobus
Three Metrobus lines connect the hospital campus with major Northern Virginia locations, including the Dunn Loring Metrorail station.

Metrorail
The Dunn Loring Metrorail station is located on Gallows Road, two miles from the hospital campus.

Fairfax Connector
One route of the Fairfax Connector bus line includes a stop at the hospital campus.

Fastran
A subsidized service for Fairfax County residents, Fastran provides transportation to health care appointments for those who meet income guidelines. Confirmation of eligibility is required in advance. Call 703-222-9764.

Taxi service
Yellow Cab of Fairfax maintains taxi hotlines in the hospital's Tower lobby near the gray elevators and in the Inova Fairfax Hospital Women's Center/Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children lobby near the vending machines.
